Our Story
The CHECK FOUNDATION was founded and created in honor of Late Pa Fanglass CHECK of ASHONG, Cameroon With a vision to bridge the educational gap in rural communities. We saw firsthand the struggles children faced due to a lack of resources, and we took action. Today, we work alongside schools, teachers, and communities to create a brighter future through education.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of “The Check Foundation” is to foster a transformative educational experience
for children in rural villages in Cameroon by providing access to essential learning resources.
We are dedicated to improving literacy, promoting educational equity, and nurturing a
lifelong love of learning among young people in underserved communities. Through efforts
to eliminate learning barriers by providing books, school supplies, and other educational
equipment, we aim to equip children with the tools they need to succeed in school and
beyond.
Our foundation is committed to not only addressing the immediate educational needs, but
also to empowering the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators who will
contribute to the social and economic development of their communities. We envision a
future where every child in Cameroon, regardless of their rural setting, has the opportunity to
unlock their potential and achieve their dreams through education.

knowledge, resources, and opportunities that will empower them to transform their lives and
communities. We envision thriving, self-sustainable educational ecosystems in which every
child—regardless of their socio-economic background, geographic location, or the challenges
they face—has the chance to pursue their dreams through quality education.
In our vision, no child will be held back by a lack of access to books, learning materials, or an
inspiring learning environment. We strive for a world where books are abundant, learning
equipment is readily available, and every classroom is a place where curiosity is nurtured and
creativity is celebrated. By addressing the educational gaps in remote villages, we aim to
contribute to a ripple effect—empowering children who will grow into educated, confident
adults capable of uplifting their families and communities
